Antiques & Collectibles Show 2020!

Saturday, February 8 - 9 am - 5 pm

Sunday, Februry 9 - 11 am - 4 pm

 Huntsville Jaycee's building

Once dubbed as "The Best General Collectible Show in Alabama", it offers a wide and wonderful array of vendors. Shoppers can expect fantastic finds including Hot Wheels collectibles and other vintage toys, dolls, linens, postcards, art, glassware, coins and untold treasures to be discovered. There will also be collectibles of a more contemporary nature by fine artists, makers and craftsmen of all sorts. You are sure to find something for your favorite sweetheart or your own heart.

This will be the fourth year the show has been sponsored by the North Alabama Spay Neuter Clinic. It serves as their major fundraising event; a tradition shared by the original show sponsor - the Huntsville Rehabilitation Center. The show began in 1992 and was held annually through 2006. The loyal vendors and shoppers were saddened when changes with HRC brought an end to the need for their fundraising. It was a wonderful opportunity that marked marvelous changes for their foundation but a huge loss to the collectors in the North Alabama area. HRC tried to find another non-profit to pick up the torch and carry on the show but had no success. Nonetheless, hopeful vendors continued to contact the former organizer every year with great expectation that it just might happen "this year".

Ironically, the change that marked what was thought to be the end of this beloved show brought a new identity to the former host. Huntsville Rehabilitative Center became known as Phoenix Industries. And after a ten year absence, the Antiques & Collectibles show rose from the ashes like a phoenix. It was due to the persistent hope of a former vendor and shopper. She suggested the N. AL Spay Neuter Clinic might consider reviving the show when she learned they were looking to revamp their major fundraising event. The original show producer, now President/CEO of Phoenix was asked to attend a clinic board meeting and share his experience of the show as a fundraiser. Incredibly, David Perez brought his old scrapbook with all the records from the previous events including floor plan and vendor contacts. February 11, 2017, the show returned with many of the original vendors and its new sponsor, the N. AL Spay Neuter Clinic.

Come enjoy a treasure hunt in this cozy, indoor show. You will find faithful vendors from years past alongside new vendors joining the fun for the first time. It is a pet-friendly event for fur-friends on leashes and supports a much-needed service for the North Alabama area. Saturday, Feb. 8th (9am to 5pm) and Sunday, Feb. 9th (11am to 4pm) at the Huntsville Jaycees Building 2180 Airport Rd. Huntsville, AL. A sweet treat for all just in time for Valentine's!
