Belter Style Mahogany Carved Arm Chair
The chair has the Belter style of lamination construction with the seam down the back.
This piece is lighter weight than the original heavy Belter furniture and thus may be more desirable for today’s use.
The top edge shows 7 layers of lamination.
Lamination allowed the back to remain together without breaking apart when pierce carving.
The master carving can be seen on the back, arms, legs, feet, and seat front.
The chair maintains its original finish.
The legs rest on brass casters.
This chair is tight and ready to use.
The fabric is in good condition.
The Chair measures 24.5 in. W x 21.5 in D x 39 In. T.
