American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Prism & Star Cruet c1880
Here is a lovely American Brilliant Period cut glass cruet featuring a Prism and Star pattern dating to about 1880. Overall measurement is 6" to the top of the faceted stopper. While is rarely possible to be a hundred percent sure whether the stopper is original, I do believe this one is as it fits perfectly and passes the quarter turn test. The cruet itself has a graceful applied handle and no sign of interior hazing. Condition is water clear and perfect noting only some minor superficial contact scuffing on the exterior and a tiny spot of roughage at the base of the stopper...neither much of an issue, but mentioned for the sake of complete accuracy.
