Mid 19th C English Pewter Teapot, James Dixon & Sons
Fine early to mid 19th century English pewter teapot bearing the mark of James Dixon & Sons. Measuring 10" in height to the top of the handle, it is in fairly good condition with no major damage that I can detect. There is some flaking of the black paint near the pewter fittings top and bottom of the handle and some minor high point wear. The lid does not sit quite fully closed leaving a thin gap at the front three panels. And there is some wear and a bit of light oxidation on the inside. No other issues aside from that and the expected age-related patina.
