Rare Antique Austrian Bronze Hunting Dog Desk Letter Holder This is a Rare Antique Austrian Bronze Hunting Dog Letter Holder. The cold painted Austrian bronze is in excellent condition and the color has not faded. It must have been a cabinet piece. On the beak of the bird there are a few flea bites of paint missing, but very few places on the dog. The over all condition is one of the best I have ever seen and the color of the paint. Look at the eyes and other detail of the dog and bird. The spring clip is in nice strong condition.There are no breaks or damage to the piece. Look at the pictures to see the condition and beauty of the piece. The oak base is 5"x 9 1/2", under dog leaf to leaf 3 1/4", dog ear to ear 2", Bird wing to wing 3", Bird beak to dog back feet 9", base to top of dog tail 3 1/2".
